Meet our Ladies and Gents

We’re excited to focus on a handful of amazing breeds that boast a unique variety of feather and egg colors! Our breeding priorities lie in ensuring the health and temperament of every single bird we care for.

Olive Eggers

Multigentational

Olive Eggers are a hybrid breed specifically bred for their unique egg color. This year, we are excited to offer "Guaranteed Greens" and "Marans Backcross." Guaranteed Greens will produce hens that lay eggs in various shades of green, ranging from bluish to olive. Marans Backcross combines olive eggers with Marans to enhance the olive green hue, with about a 50% chance of producing brown eggs

Penedesenca

Crele

Meet the Crele Penedesenca! This rare Spanish breed is known for their King's comb, excellent foraging abilities, and heavy bloomed brown eggs. They are active, hardy birds that do well in a variety of settings, making them a great choice for all chicken keepers.

Crele Penedesencas are auto-sexing at hatch, allowing chicks to be sexed based on feather color and pattern.

Legbar

Opal and Cream Splits

Legbars are an active, lightweight large fowl chicken. They are an auto-sexing breed, meaning chicks can be sexed at hatch by color. Legbars are prolific layers of a large blue egg.

Leghorn

Brown Rose Comb

Rose Comb Brown Leghorns are efficient, hardy layers well-suited for cold climates thanks to their compact rose combs. They are active, alert birds that lay bright white eggs with excellent consistency.

As I work to improve this flock, there is a chance of a chick hatching out with a straight comb.
